Inorganic species can be identified using wet chemical analysis, UV/Vis spectroscopy, ICP & AAS, XRF and have their crystal structure analysed using XRD

Organic species and be identified and measured using wet chemical analysis, IR, UV/Vis spectroscopy, XRD.
